When he's not holding gigantic, politically-driven prayer meetings, Governor Rick Perry is stirring the shit in college football.



The guv'na was quoted as saying that Texas A&M, his alma mater, is talking to the SEC about a possible move.



Only the egotistical assholes at Texas A&M could think they could compete in the SEC. They can hardly beat Texas Tech, Texas and Oklahoma.



They need to face facts: Texas A&M isn't that good nor are they that important ... anymore.



Who, in the SEC, is A&M better than? Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Kentucky, probably. Probably as good as Mississippi State and Georgia. No way they're better than LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Ole Miss, Arkansas and South Carolina. No way they want to go into any SEC stadium and want to face that crowd. Look at these Texas boys thinking they can come into the SEC and play with us.



It's a fucking hornet's nest the Aggies are poking with a stick. Not that anyone loves what hte Big XII (or X) has become or how Texas has taken the reins, but jettisoning for the SEC is not the answer. At least not now.
