He Tweeted Mike Napoli's cell phone number the other day, calling it a "prank" and citing that it was bringing the pair even after Naps said he couldn't wait to hit home runs off Wilson, who is now a California Angel.
Tweeting phone numbers is not cool. I don't care if Napoli banged your mom. Punch him. Run a fastball in the middle of his ass. Hell, maybe try to get him out.
By all accounts, Napoli claims that their relationship isn't all that close.
I have ZERO doubt that Wilson thought he was honestly "getting back" at Napoli for his comment because Wilson's an egotistical nimrod incapable of understanding human relations and tact. I sincerely believe that in the back of his mind, he thinks that his old teammates will somehow take it easy on the guy. It's so fucking weird that you have to consider this is the way Wilson thinks.
Yes, Ceej, Napoli, Nelson Cruz, Mike Young, Ian Kinsler and Mitch "The Bitch" Moreland are all going to try to hit home runs off of you.
And I've never rooted for a conclusion as much as I root for that.
By the way, Napoli has a homer and double off Wilson in his career. A paltry .222 average in 18 at-bats. Although, Napoli hit .319 against lefties with nine homers and 28 RBI a season ago.
