The naughty list
It's been long rumored that no singular sports program in the Big XII was bending the rules more than Baylor basketball.

This is not getting a ton of attention outside of a headline on ESPN for 24 hours, but it's something to watch, especially if you had the opportunity to see the 30 for 30 documentary about the SMU football program of the 1980s, Pony Excess, and saw how all of this snowballs quickly.

It was found that the men's and women's programs had sent or made around 1,200 texts and phone calls to recruits, in what is being dubbed a major infraction by the NCAA. Scott Drew will be suspended for two Big XII games. Both Drew and Kim Mulkey and their assistants have lost scholarships and have recruiting restrictions placed on them for the summer.

Furthermore, it's been shown that Mulkey had impermissible contact with star Britney Griner while she was still in school in 2007.

The men's program, frankly, sounds like a mad house. Mostly, Drew's been suspended for a lack of control based on the actions of his assistants, who have many violations under their belts.

It's sort of a small story now. Re-visit it in two years.
