New York Jets -- 12-4

There are reasons to like them. Getting Buffalo and Miami four times in addition to Washington, Jacksonville, Oakland, Denver and Washington. Nearly 10 wins and they might not break a sweat. There are several things that I think are the cornerstone to a perpetually good football team is the quarterback and the offensive and defensive lines. The Jets have all three I think. Mark Sanchez improved 1000 percent a season ago. His touchdowns-interceptions went topsy turvy, he added 800 more yards passing and a higher completion percentage (although not by much). If Sanchez' improvement continues on this pace, he'll throw for 4,000 yards, throw 22 touchdowns and just six interceptions. If he does just by 10 percent of that, the Jets will be in really good shape.
New England Patriots -- 11-5

For all the talent -- young and old -- the Patriots have a tough schedule. At Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. Versus Indianapolis, Dallas, the Jets twice, the Giants, Chiefs and Chargers. A ton of playoff teams in that mix. I actually really like the Patriots' make-up and that's why they win 11 games and go toe to toe with the Jets in the division. I just wonder how much longer they can go without a running game and with an ancient defensive line.
Buffalo Bills -- 6-10

The Bills are going to shock some people. Well, at least six. And some of those might not be actual shocks. Ryan Fitzpatrick was unbad last year and they can run the ball a little. If they can just play a little defense here and there and they can create a little havoc in the division. Can't believe I'm preaching up six wins like this.
Miami Dolphins -- 4-12

Sorry, did I see the Dolphins actively and publicly try to trade their starting quarterback (Chad Henne) in the off-season only for it to not happen? How is that going to work? How do you look Henne in the eye and say "It's just business!" No quarterback. No running back. A team that can't win at home (1-7 in Miami). No thanks.
