Colby, Colby
The Texas Rangers began Spring Training games yesterday, losing to Kansas City, 6-1.

It feels like they'll never win another game.

To the tape!

The Good
Scooter Feldman's cutter was working. Induced several groundouts in two pristine frames. It is pure luxury to have a guy like Feldman on the roster.

Miguel De Los Santos pitched a perfect inning, striking out one and nothing else. Supposedly showcasing his brand-new change-up that apparently impressed some. Why haven't the Rangers addressed the left-handed bullpen situation? Maybe because of guys like MDLS.

Robbie Ross -- another lefty prospect -- threw an inning, striking out two and allowing two hits.

Mitch "The Bitch" Moreland hit a home run. It was Texas' lone tally.

Leonys Martin notched a hit. It's only a matter of time.

The Bad
Colby Lewis threw two innings allowing three hits. Unfortunately, one of those was a Billy Butler home run, which scored two. In general, an efficient outing throwing 28 pitches and pounding the strike zone. We might wind up waking up in August thanking the Sweet Lord Jesus for Colby Lewis.

I've sort of felt like Mike Kirkman's done in Texas. Yesterday didn't help: 2 IP - 5 hits - 4 runs.

Conor Jackson -- hoping for a good spring and a spot on the roster -- went 0-2.
