Let's get this show on the road
Actually, it ended. The Rangers finished out their Cactus League schedule by winning six of seven and making it pretty clear that they are going to the World Series for a third straight year. I mean, who wins six of seven Spring Training games? Champions, that's who.

A lot did happen and we are here to recap.

Robbie Ross Made The Team
Robbie Ross was not on the Rangers' radar in early March. A month later, he was on the team as the lefty bullpen guy. They may be pleased with the development, Ross is projected as a starter, and had he not made the team he probably starts in Oklahoma City's rotation. Fact is, they never fully addressed the lefty situation, none of the non-roster invites did anything and Ross continually showed something: Poise, maturity, ability to get outs. In 12 innings, he struck out 11, walked two and allowed just two runs. Much of the numbers put up against him came from one appearance. He also proved he could get both lefties and righties out. I don't think he'll be a situational guy all the time.

Ross was the second-round pick in the 2008 draft, which is proving to be a very good year. Tanner Roark, Justin Smoak and Joe Wieland were all part of trades. It's not inconceivable to see Justin Miller and Cody Eppley in the Majors at some point this year. Dick Bleier, Mike Bianucci and Joe Butler have been useful farmhands.

Yu Darvish Made People Look Silly
Nevermind the ERA or hits or home runs. Darvish makes professional baseball players look SILLY. Rewatch the Carlos Gonzalez, Troy Tulowitzki and Marco Scutaro at-bats. The latter was ducking for his life. His legs buckled so badly they had to amputate. He's struck out 21 in 15 spring innings. Sorry, he might give up some hits and runs. He might have some untimely walks, but Darvish is going to be stellar in this rotation. Not perfect, but the best No. 4 starter in the league ... all apologies for C.J. Wilson in Los Angeles.

Scott Feldman: Best No. 6 Starter In Rangers History
23 IP - 22 Ks - 3 BBs - 8 Runs. The Texas Rangers are at an advantage.

Ian Kinsler Can Still Hit
Posted a .390 average with five homers over the Spring. The man needs to get paid. If there's a guy you want on this team in 2015, it's Kins. He's getting better.

Bunk Moreland
For about two weeks, no one was having a worse Spring Training than Mitch Moreland. Then it snapped. Unfortunately, it snapped in 2011 too. For three months, no one worked pitchers better and gave the Rangers better at-bats than Moreland. And he was the Nos. 8 or 9 hitter in the line-up. By mid-season, those at-bats had gone and so had a lot of his playing time. Moreland wound up with a spring average of .283 with seven walks and three homers. We saw in the minors that Moreland can hit. The inkling that he might find it in 2012 makes me sexually aroused.

David Murphy: Fourth Outfielder Who Can't Stay Off The Field
Hit .327 this spring with two doubles, two triples and a homer. He hit .435 against lefties. For his career, that's been the only reason he's sat. The only reason.

Colby Lewis' Beard
Breathtaking.
